Private car parking

Free parking is available at the EC. This parking will also be used for the Model Event for Sprint Qualification, for the Sprint Qualification race and for the Opening Ceremony.
Parking passes are mandatory and are available for purchase at the EC for private cars for all others races and Model Events Long (40.00 CHF). Please have your parking pass visible on the dashboard of your vehicle from the Sunday 1st August. Vehicles without a pre-purchased parking permit will be charged 60.00 CHF at the venues.

A special parking pass will be distributed for runners older than 80 years. This “+80 Parking pass” will allow runners to park near to Assembly arenas or Shuttle stations.


Coach parking

Groups or Tour Operator with coach (more than 40 seats) could have direct access to competition center for LQ2, LFI and Model Events 1 & 2 for Long distance to unload competitors. A coach parking pass has to be ordered before the 15 July from the information team (info@wmoc2010.org ) specifying the number of participants in the coach and the group number.

Public transport

Every participant will get a free pass for public transport from July 30th to August 6th (8 days) for the “Onde Verte” area which includes the entire canton of Neuchâtel and the region of Les Breuleux. The bib number is as well the transportation pass and will have to be shown in case of control by a conductor. On July 30th before runners fetch their bib numbers the SPORTIdend card can be shown instead of the bib. The zone covered is described in the web link below:

Motorway System

To use motorways, you will have to buy a tax sticker for motor vehicles and trailers weighting up to 3.5 tonnes (40.00 CHF). This sticker should be bought at the customs booths as you enter the country.
