Touristic trips during the rest day

During the rest day on Thursday 5 August, 4 touristic trips will be offered for all people interested in visiting the region.

Tickets are sold in EC in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

WMOC 2010 maps will be realized with airborne laser scanning

The cartographic work for the WMOC 2010 has been entrusted to Pierre-Alain Matthey and Urs Steiner, both experienced and international recognized mappers.

The maps to be realized for the WMOC 2010 will be based on airborne laser scanning. This method will allow the terrain modeling with high precision and contours of 1 meter.

The base data has been received from the Neuchâtel office for land and infrastructure planning.

Jean-Carlo Pedroli as external consultant

Jean-Carlo Pedroli will work as external consultant to support all matters related to sustainable developpement for the WMOC 2010. (13.02.2008)

Travel with public transport

During the WMOC 2010, most part of the travel will be done by public transport. The organisation comitee has decided to outsource the developpement of the transportation concept to Nicolas Grandjean. (05.02.2008)

Création du nouvelle association WMOC 2010

Lors de son assemblée générale d'automne, l'Association Neuchâteloise de Course d'Orientation (ANCO) a décidé de créer une nouvelle association nommée "WMOC 2010" ayant pour objectif l'organisation des Championnats du monde master de course d'orientation en août 2010.

Afin de dissocier les activités annuelles et l'organisation de cette manifestation internationale, les membres de l'ANCO ont soutenu la proposition de leur comité pour la création d'une nouvelle association. Cette association sera mandatée par l'ANCO pour l'organisation de la manifestation.

De plus, toute personne désirant soutenir cette manifestation peut dès à présent adhérer à l'association en remplissant et en renvoyant le formulaire annexé.
